why would you chip your ecu now and then downgrade to a piggyback down the road? Something like uberdata or crome will be more capable than any piggyback set up.

they aren't as strong as the b series ones, and the d15 non vtec rods and such aren't the best... but the d15b, d16z6 and d16y1/8 internals aren't too bad. They're certainly a lot better than most...

tell that to all of the d series motors out there running 3-400 hp on stock internals.

this is a VERY different concept that those led bulbs on ebay

vtec cross over selection is made using the dyno... there's pretty much one correct spot... it's not just randomly chosing points and seeing if it works...

probably not a good idea... lots of ballasts are polarity sensitive, and arbitrarily reversing it can burn 'em out


best bet is to start with the basics before going around messing with the power...

a lot of hid kits don't come with a relayed wiring harness... they just plug into the stock wiring

take one of the ballasts and run it directly to the battery... just to test if the ballasts even work... be sure there is a bulb connected to it though.

a properly sized turbo on stock internals can run 10 psi without a problem, assuming you have a proper engine management set up that has been tuned. Most kits DO NOT come with a proper engine...
