You should be comparing ef9 and eg6 to the ek9, not the ek4. Unless you're just comparing what car you can get for the 12-16k bracket.

2156cc is the engine capacity. Bigger capacity is not necessarily faster, the H22A(2156cc) engine is faster/makes more power than the H23(2300approx). Vti-r Prelude's have H22A's.

I don't think the OBDII makes much difference. I'm not sure but don't people generally prefer OBDI because more aftermarket parts are made to fit it, like vtec controllers, vafc, etc?

OBDII is the computer. The earlier models have OBDI, at least the 94 has OBDI, not sure about others.
