take one for a drive.
when i took one for a drive, i didn't mind the cabin noise, suspension setup or steering weight. it was just a really well balanced car.
ShiRi, how much did u pay and when did u get it?
ahh so that's how it works. u CAN import a car which was sold here but not during its production run in australia.
the Si is actually DOHC
also, the Si was produced from the end of '91 to '93 and the Vti from '93 to '95. they were both the top of the range model in the civic lineup.
when i checked up on importing an EG6 last time this is what i found out:
u can't import a civic for the simple reason being that they were sold here in full volume. even tho the eg6 and ek9...
DO NOT speed on the Hume Hwy. I drove to Mt Hotham over the weekend and there were so many point to point cameras/speed cameras on the side of the freeway that it wasn't funny anymore.
it's to keep the rabbits out of china. too many rabbits in china.

i think i have a couple of pics of ur car at the grid if u want me to post them.
well, i got off my ass and took both for a drive today.
obviously the dc2r was a nicer drive, faster and more expensive. the gearbox was tight and it was just a great car overall. the eg5 Si was...
i'll track it whenever track days come around and take it to the drags every so often too. i just need the flexibility of being able to carry a smallish load (which the EG can do too) once in a...
I'm in the market to buy a car and have been looking at EG5's and dc2r's.
I really like the shape of the EG, but i just adore the dc2r proportions. The dc2r is faster, more agile, better built...
does changing the rear lca's to eg6/dc2 lca's help much in the way of handling?
we've got the 3000A's on a ba fairmont ghia and they grip well in wet and dry. worlds away from the dunlop le mans which just didn't really grip.
looks awesome. looks like it sits nicer on the road than stock.
i like it.
did u have any problems with paint cracking when they were rolled out that far?
