because greddy use thrust bearing turbo chargers not ball bearing dosent matter as much for these types of turbos as they need a much higher flow of oil then a ball bearing unit and less affected by...
remove it and weld on higher than the oil line, lower could cause a backup of pressure and oil and kill the turbo espically a ball bearing on very quickly
