Revolution racegear has a good range and good pricing, have a few places around I think, but one I usually go to is in nunawading area. Meridian motorsport is also pretty good too, they are in...
I've always believed in being safe than sorry, so I run baffled sumps on my cars. Especially considering they are not that expensive, where as if something went wrong from not running one it would...
Another update...got the EK9 down to 2.01.1 at Phillip Island, this time no KU36's, just some pretty average street tyres. So under 2min is possible with some better street tyres.
They are great, good quality shock and feel great. Although for me and my ED track car I think I need to step it up a bit and go stiffer. My opinion it would be a great street / track coilovers, but...
Perfect for what? Street, comfort, track, both, etc...? Then it comes also down to personal preference and what you like, what can deal with daily, track only car, and your other mods, etc...
Andy suggested F:10kg/mm and R: 8kg/mm at the start, and he assured me that wouldn't feel too stiff as the shock is a lot better quality than a lot of the coilovers out there. But I wanted comfort...
Yep, what this guy said. If you plan on extending it and putting a long shift knob on it, then unless the ball joint to bottom distance is actually lower you are just wasting $$ coz the entension and...
After seeing this thread and looking into the AMR coilovers a bit more I have decided to give them a go too for my EK9. Was tossing up between these or the KW coilovers which I also run on my...
Even on my 15x8 the tyre is still bulging a bit. Dunlops are a bit wider than others I think, seem to sit the same as my mate who runs 225 on his 8" wheel.
Looking at changing up a few things with my track car setup 2nd half if this year and thinking about my wheel / tyre setup. Got an ED Civic currently running 15x8 wheels with 205/50 15 tyres, but...
Haven't had too much time in the car after it being built and getting the setup right. So just getting to know the car better and working on lines, seem to be taking big chunks out of my times lately...
Yep, was going to suggest this too, but it said it had been checked and was sealing fine. But that's exactly what will happen if the old o ring hasn't actually been removed. So check this first as...
Yep, if you want to jump on with other clubs by yourself some other good ones are:
WRXClub - various tracks
PIARC - Philip Island
Tampered (as above) - Winton
There are quite a few driver training schools around that provide pro drivers and plenty of track time. I've done a John Bowe high performance trackday before and I would highly recommend them. Heaps...
Went with KW V3. Seems to have a bit more rear shock travel which suits my rear swaybar more. A lot softer, bit too soft actually, but seems to be working. Would like to make them a bit stiffer...
