you would add after market shocks to go with ur aftermarket springs as the ride will feel better than aftermarket springs on OEM shocks. OEM shocks and aftermarket springs will give u a much more...
eg civcs are nice first cars man...even if they werent looked after...u can always do an engine conversion hehehe...but all in all should be very reliable if well looked after from previous...
i'd suggest to change ur gearbox oil, and warm up ur car for 30 seconds to a minute at the maximum...u'll cause excess wear to ur engine if u let it warm up to normal operating temp...just let it...
u should be alright if u just top up the clutch fluid and drive the car to the mechanic...thats wat i've done in the past and its done me just fine...no dramas at all.
i hope u had ur car in a locked garage when u left ur keys in the ignition...otherwise it would have been easy for a thief to break the window or just simply open the door if it was unlocked and...

not only getting the wheel alighnment done helps, but maybe rotating ur tyres around from front to back and back to front may help too....you should also check ur tyre pressure very often too....try...
