Update: spent the whole day yesterday flushing the PS fluid, and cleaning the PS pump... the noise is gone, and back to normal

My 02' DC5R has been making whining noise in the morning (only morning after sitting like 10-12 hours).

I suspect the Power Steering Pump... 2 weeks ago, the PS Fuid overspilled and it was foamy,...

a lot of people had been saying about the 'infamous' whistling sound, and mine does that too !! Well i dont really care about it now.... since i got an open pod filter and full intake-header-exhaust,...

yeah i guess Type Rs are noisier than their softer counterparts.... so i guess it is alright...

so i guess.... it's pretty normal then?? mine only have 25,000km .... when is valve clearance to be performed??

oh okay.... yeah just found out that valve clearance supposed to be done at 110,000 miles (in the US), so it might be around 150,000km...

so far i am very happy with the DC5R..... unlike my Celica...

is it okay if we perform high RPM driving... everyday? well we got no speed limit in here.... so i always engage the I-VTEC...

guys... now that the rear clunking noise had gone.... i am now faced with new problem: the thumping (not clunking) sound from the front Driver's side.
