Definitely main relay.
Mine is on the way out but I don't have access to a soldering iron. Generally only stops working on hot days or after long periods of driving, giving it a tap usually gets...
Pic update: Bit of a wash with the new shoes on.

Generic cannon muffler with fancy looking piping. It'll just end up sounding like an Excel with the "Autobahn Special" cannon.
Save your money and buy a decent muffler and resonator (Magnaflow,...
What about your main relay?
Steering wheel or wheel wheels?
I got a basic dished OMP steering wheel, black with red stitching.
Actual wheels I got some Konig Candy 16x7 +40's, silver lip with black centre, they're...
Update:
Short shifter installed (6 hour job as cat-back was refusing to be removed), new Blox weighted knob and DC2R shift boot installed. Great shifts now, feels like a whole new car to drive.

Also, is there a way to re-size uploaded pictures through the forum? Or do I need to do it before uploading?
Another update, more parts arrived yesterday. New Exedy S1 Organic clutch and OEM DC2 ITR shift boot goodness.
Clutch will be installed at HondaDynamiks when I get the time to book it in.

The GSi should be roughly comparable to my DA9 with a few extra kilowatts. It's not amazingly quick but it surprises a few people. Just like your RX8 you'll find the low down torque is rubbish but it...
Go for something with service logs/books and with a decent service history (not in the last month to make it look good when they sell it).
Both should be reliable if treated well and maintained...
Haha, cheers dougie, turbo is definitely a "much further down the track" sorta thing. I have a list of everything I need, it's just money and time.
Small update, these arrived from the US today....
Thanks mate, still eagerly awaiting parts.
I was hoping to have it mounted directly behind the cutout in the behind, so you could see it properly.
I guess mounting it there was too difficult or...
What model civic were you planning on getting mate? EG? EK? Suspension ranges from lowered springs on stuck shocks all the way to fully-adjustable coilovers, all depends on your goal :).
Welcome...
Haven't updated in a while but I have some parts on order so expect a few updates in the near future.
Had a 2.25" cat-back installed, only press bent, I'm a little disappointed in that the guy...
The FF Type 1 kit I was looking at has the same spring rate that you mentioned.
When installed, at their maximum height, what is the drop like?
Cheers for the reply.
I don't see how the country it is manufactured in has any influence on its quality.
We label items made in China as "junk" but our household is full of the stuff.
Anyone with personal...
Hi guys,
Done a lot of searching and I've narrowed down my options to these 2 setups.
Function&Form F2 Type 1 coilovers are just under $900 on eBay, 10F 6R.
Then there's the obvious GC/Koni...
Could save some money and do a B18A1/B turbo build?
More money to put towards the internals you're going to need for the 220-250kw @ the track.
Is it a quiet popping or a loud backfire?
After installing a catback on my DA9 it occasionally "pops" when I shift or decelerate, nothing serious.
My old SSS used to backfire when changing,...
I envy how clean your cars are haha.
I followed your SSS thread on PGA, much like I do now for your DC5R :P
Most body repair shops flare guards I think, wouldn't be cheap though.
Forget eBay turbo kits, my initial thoughts was to turbo it the "cheap" way, but I learnt quick that forced induction isn't cheap.
Build your own kit using good quality 2nd hand or brand new.
I...
Anyone had any luck running 15x7.5 +30 with a 195/50 tyre?
I've searched fitment threads and I believe everything should fit fine, just asking for anyone with personal experience.
Car is stock...
That is a sexy torque curve, love the car dude :)
Should fit no worries mate, offset is near standard and correct me if I'm wrong but only an inch wider than standard?
