Are you sure it's not your rear brake lights..... There's a brake sensor under the dash......get under your drivers side foot well and move your brake pedal,you will see as the brake pedal comes up...

Correct, you need to separate the wiring out of the da cabin loom, and feed that into the certo. So you end up with da wiring and plugs in the cert.
