It will auto lock everytime if you unlock the car with key remote and don't open any doors. These conditions have to be met to start the timer, which will be in the cars brain (computer generated...

It would be a timer of some sort. It auto locks after about 30-60secs. My problem with it is if you unlock it and then open the boot, then go to get in the car, if your not quick enough it's auto...
