Mate, i don't think you should worry too much . i personally find it pretty hard for any amount of water to go up the intake pipe, through the filter etc.

if its the exhaust its fine, i'd be surprised if it wasn't rusted. Take off your headers cover and you'll probably be seeing alot of rust. So long as it's not a hole then its fine...
