as far as i know, rear steering only works at low speeds and only a few degrees lock, so keep a bit of space in the rear gaurds and youll be fine either...
As said, there should be a hole for an allen key at the top of the shock, otherwise a rectangle type thing which you hold with a shifter or something, then...
I agree, on bikes, preload makes a difference. Though, on a car that has more traction through a corner and more curb weight, preload makes a pretty unnoticable difference to cornering as a car...
Could be the pad compound and disc just working with eachother. Mums Astra does this with premium pads and discs, all brand new. It doesnt effect the performance at all, car brakes harder than ever....
superR - that sleeve goes over a shock for a coilover... soooooo in others words, you will need a "coilover" (will come in a kit) shock to start with, so you are better of just getting a good spring...
Suspension is set up statically, but you need to think of it dynamically. Just because you get an alignment of -1deg, around a corner with shitty shocks it will...
