like i said up until recently you were correct the SRS ECU was useless but im 100% sure they can be reset now.

Most likely your main fuel relay, if it's cranking over and not sparking.
Very common problem... worn/cracked soldering joint needs resoldering.

200 + is fine... the honda B series engines are proven to be reliable, long lasting engines.
Just keep it regularly serviced.

financially it's more sensible to turbo a 'non vtec' than go the NA road if ur chasing 13's...
i've never seen non vtec < 14 around here...
