1. Proof of purchase
2. Blue slip
3. green slip
4. Rego form in RTA
If buying imports from interstate (be careful):
1. Check VIN with DOLLARS and see if...

Why should u put one knowing it is illegal, I learned the hard way!
So I strongly advise not to buy or install one!

Probably your fuel pump is loosing pressure, might want to get that checked out.

Radar detectors are illegal in NSW... The fine is over 1K
I know coz I bought one from U.S. A few years ago.
Some cop cars are fitted with radar-detector detector.
So don't even think of using...

The car has been rebuild/repaired at some point... My old car had 3 VINs
1 from the original import shell with no compliance
2 from an Australian delivered repairable write-off
3 stamped VIN...

1.The first three character of your vin is the WMI (World manufacturer identifier) - 6D9 signifies the state VIN originated or was given that VIN, which is in your case Victoria.

is it an import?
if it is make sure U got:
1. Import approval/compliance number (can get this from D.O.T.A.R.S. I can pm you number)
2. Proof of compliance that states it meets Australian Design...

I would change it every 5-7K andd no more than 10K... You could really feel the engine working harder once it reaches near the 10K mark.
