simple fact is that any small car or hatchback looks SOOOO ricey with hood scoops. your better off cutting holes in your bumper where it looks less obvious.

the best one to get would be from an EK1 GLI. that one has a tacho on it and just plugs straight in.

i know that in SA it's illegal to put an engine in a car that is bigger than the biggest option availible for that car from factory. eg. u can put anything bigger than a 1.6 into a civic, no bigger...

it can be, i've done it to mine, the mesh just sits about 15 - 20mm further forward so it looks less CTR-ish but still looks waaaay beter than stock.

don't worry bout the original piping then. probably work out cheaper to get a custom cat-back put on with ur own muffler then buy a whole new muffler.

i've ordered a CAI for my EK from the US from ebay and it only cost USD$58 for the CAI and USD$33 for shipping.

just had my cat-back put on and got a dual-cannons. i love it!!

as long as you don't tint them too dark no body cares. i've had mine tinted for a good 6 months and not been pulled over once for it. it is a much cheaper alternative to buying a new set of tails.

you could also try tinting your tail lights and side indicators, u'd be surprised how much better overall it can make the car look
