As far as the tear goes i have to small tears on either side of my soft top beither are as big as that one but one is slightly wider, but i have never had leaks through mine either.

mps isnt a bad option, just throwing this one out there, a subaru liberty spec b, u could go for either the h4 gt turbo version, or the h6 n/a, both have very similar power outputs, both have a 6 spd...

your pretty much right, i do have a spare key but not remote, i let the key dry, sprayed it with contact cleaner, and replaced the battery but no luck. i dont know where the aftermarket immobolizer...
