Mine was almost new when i got it but it has opened up alot after some driving / bedding in.

Its not loud but it might be louder that what you are describing cause of the cat....

pulled the tall one out and replaced with oem s2000 antenna.
looks much better than b4 and wont break.

they are quite pricey though and not so simple to install.

this one is a bit louder cause its the oval barrel, not the round one. but still pretty quiet. makes a good sound when u want it to.

nah i didnt actually do anything to my filter. The stock pod filters as you probably know are disposable, and therefore are changed every 40,000 miles, or at least they should be. My guess is mine...

i have the xforce twin loop on my 93 vtir and i couldnt be happier with it.
i just have catback and its nice and quiet when u wanna just loft around town and makes a great sound when you hit vtec....
