    I'm just reluctant to try out other brands particularly for the tranny, cos it already has 300K on the clock and has always used Honda MTF. I had no probs with it so far, no leaks.

    Went down to the dealer for some MTF manual tranny oil for my CD Accord.

    They didn't have any in stock. The rep told me to use engine oil in place tranny oil. Is it true you can do that?
