use the bmc on the left - the later model 1" BMC (98-00) have 2x 10mm fittings whereas the earlier model has 1x 12mm, 1x 10mm. you might need to bend the first line a bit too

did you remove the plastic cover near the center of the windscreen? theres a bolt behind that and you do need to unbolt the steering column
B18C7 is OBD2a so just search for OBD2a ECU pinout (the one in the link is correct)
There aren't any wires in you chassis harness because it's a GSI chassis, just extend the wires from your engine...

It's obvious the spoon rod was designed with the OEM shifter in mind and not the bulky ass ktuned shifter
