Check your tyre pressures too, if the pressures are too low you can use up more fuel, especially on freeway runs.

Look into super/turbo charging the Jazz? Won't be anywhere near as powerful, but you keep your bootspace, plus a lot easier to find parking spots :)

My old 1.3L GD average 6.5L/100ks in urban areas (not city, but still reasonably busy). Went down to ~4L on the highway, best i saw was 3.5L
New 1.5L GE gets nowhere near that, averaging 7.8L doing...

The top red one is a bit eeergh. Front bumper doesn't look right.

I'd definitely pick the Jazz over a Yaris, its so much roomier inside, and a LOT nicer to drive.
