the sound is pretty similar to your K&N, when it's fully ducted it's quieter. If it's short ram type, it will be very loud.

On the metal frame mate, I cut a bit of window rubber surround so the track sticks flat onto the metal frame. so far more than 1 yr under harsh sun/high temp. Still stuck on pretty tight....

maybe Quadrio is going to retro fit turbo'd CB32 engine between the rear axle, then 8pot/6pot is not so overkill :)
