So I've managed to get the boot open, turns out it was working the whole time, the lock was just jammed. Now the boot raises from the switch also.

Next problem is one of the gears in the tilt unit...

yeh and they said they wouldn't take it because it's an import..

recently bought a 93 J-spec Del sol, which has a few issues that i'm looking to get fixed. I can't seem to open the boot at the moment.

i've taken the car to a few auto-electricians...
