Installed the dizzy back on the car and it still won't start, it was making a slightly different noise like something ticking in the dizzy and there was a bit of backfire from the carbs

Damn, so my easiest option would be to just swap over the whole part from the other dizzy?

There doesn't seem to be any screw holding it on the shaft

yeah got rid of the iab and ran the line straight to the manifold

btw the knock sensors not connected as well but vtec still engages and the car drives fine, just the idle issue at the moment and...

It didnt come with clear instructions so im just using diagrams off the net,

I'm yet to check the icm, but wondering if the icm is bad, can I use one from a d16a8? So an obd0 icm in a carby dizzy.

EDIT: just pulled the dizzy off the car, where is the ICM located in the...

Don't think it has a icm cause I'm using the original carby dizzy

has a mini me swap, with an electric pump

i replaced the ignition coil and still doesnt start, just cranks like before i swapped it

I was driving my ED6 then it just suddenly died on me, I got it running again after cranking it a couple of times after letting it sit for a bit then it died again 5minutes later.

i think the problem would be is that you sprayed the intake with throttle body cleaner, did you do this while the car was running?

would there need to be adapters if i use a non abs ek9 booster and cylinder?

which car rotors are you using and what is your rear brake setup?

The brake setup is going into a ed6 so the ports will still be the same size as ek9 non asb booster and cylinder right?

But the ports would be flared for a dc2r abs booster and cylinder?
