You were using gli ones and said the ek4/ek9 ones are longer, perhaps try them

Stock/ hardrace should do fine.
If you don't have current endlinks/ a swaybar, you'll need gli front lca's though. From memory there is nowhere to mount endlinks to on the cxi front lca's

I know it's not worth it, I know I have another car to build. That needs lots of money to progress, this'll be cheap in the short run....

From everyrhing i've seen, the euro/ audm model was surpassed in every way by the ep3r

Euro/ audm fd/ fn from my understanding has torsion rear end, and is far worse than the dc5/ep/ek, etc.

cl9 shouldn't be faster than a dc5r. Especially considering it has like 20hp less. and only 24ftpound of torque. the cl9 also weighs at least 200kg more, and has longer gears iirc.
