Replaced the battery under warranty, no problem for a month or two, then it came back.
Finally found the problem, it is the ground, sand the chassis and added another cable.
Do you know what are the fault codes for this? I am getting blinking lights every now and then with a "ding" sound but its too fast to see what is the error. Happens randomly once or twice in a 30-60...

I usually park the car at the bottom of the hill and take the tube up Perisher to ski, cheaper and safer for me.

disconnect the battery overnight, see if that helps after the ECU resets.
I dont think batt will cause this auto locking issue, but no harm borrowing another battery to test.
are you talking about the CL9 or CU2 (current gen)?? get the standard manual version, lightest and thus fastest euro. the lowest I ever got on my CL9 5.2 or 5.1L/100km doing about 100kmh on highway....
