    How about using a siphon pump with the suction tube going into the fill/dipstick hole? Would that take more of the old fluid out in the first place?

    If I had a CL9 and was in the market to upgrade the stock console, I think I would get it. The GUI may not be up to oem standards but it does the job.

    If it breaks, just put the old one back in....

    Only if he does it properly and does not let the fluid levels get too low. I normally let the fluid drain until it goes close to emptying the reservoir. Then fill it with fresh fluid.
