If you want a stock rear sway bar for your car, get one off the EM1 or EK4

Just to let you know that you can get two types: JDM or OEM (I think you can get it here in Australia). I think the difference is JDM uses clips to hold the window visors and OEM uses double sided...

Why not just get a VTi-R? You can get the EM1 (99-00) Civic Coupe VTi-R of if you like hatches, there's the 96-98 VTi-R hatch. But of course I'd prefer the coupes ;)

96-98 Civic Hatches all have plastic strips on the front and back bumper
96-98 Civic Coupe don't have the plastic strips

If you don't like the plastic strips at the front then replace your front...

Just a question..you're getting a pre-facelift EK9 (I'm assuming its 96-98 year) but your current car is a facelift model (99-00 year)..I thought you can't put an older engine into your car?

I think they'll be the same...they are in the same year model (96-98)..well the front bumper are interchangeable so I don't see why the grill won't fit

but you might wanna wait for someone else...

If you look at the engine code, it says D16Y8 which is an EJ8 = 96-98 Civic Coupe VTi..and I don't know what the engine code for a GLi is.

VTi-R Coupes have the B16A2 engine

yes there are 2 differences

all the EK's in 96-98 have black rubber around their front bumper EXCEPT the coupe..if you don't want the black rubber, change them with a 96-98 coupe front bar..will...

I had a similar problem a few months ago.

Apparently the filter/mesh broke off the cat due to the exhaust emissions melting/overheating the filter inside the cat. :(

I got it as a gift so I don't know how much and where it was purchased from.

But yeah the filter is behind the front bar..

I just installed a AEM CAI on my car today (civic coupe vti). But I don't know where to put the wires? There's 3 holes but I only took out 2 wires when I took out the stock intake pipe. :confused:

Why don't you get a EM1 (Civic Coupe VTi-R) grille? Isn't the EM1 grille same or similar to the CTR grille?

I think the EM1 grille will fit onto your 2000 EK hatch.

I got a EJ8 and mine does that. Your alarm system has a setting for it. I think it's called "anit-hijack" (well for me it is called that). Read your manual book for your alarm system to switch it off...

That lip you got looks like the 96-98 OEM rear lip? Well it doesn't look like the rear lip fromTrust-Me's car.
