i have an 03 euro LUX and today i was in my mates 05 euro LUX and noticed that the buttons on his steering wheel lit up when the headlights were on, aswell as the heated seat buttons.

i did this a couple weeks ago when installing my comptech short shifter.

used a 10.1 or 10.2 die and a wrench :)

look up tap and die set, should answer all ur questions.

heh, i actually put a S2000 knob on my euro a couple days ago - i put it on temporarily just by trial and error, grinding the lock nut lower so that it screwed down in the correct position - of...

i rekon its goin to be assessed as repairable - doesn't look like the chassis has bent, so dont think the repair cost will exceed the cost of the car - but then again, im no panel beater.

should of got the 6MT!!!

thats right, the excess is payed by from the person in fault then insurance will fix all the cars involved.
