nothing to do with that. depending on what the overall setup is some thing is turning on before something else. a cap and a diode will fix it. now if its a EBAY peice (sounds like it is.)...

nope. I meant local as in the 4 door hatch variant. I have done a couple of the JDM variety and those are a LOT easier.

you need a new panel and the correct harness. harness is the same for the speakers/power. be aware that there is a copy of the RHD panel running around and when left in the sun it will warp.

if its a JDM one then you need to pull the two screws out of the rear of the bracket on both sides. if its local then the whole lot including a/c controls have to come out.
