why bother with the type S ??...the power difference is minimal @ the wheel add an aftermarket ecu and its a level field for all k20's.

any reason why u went for pro1's?....i got the same set up except i went for the TRR's 4-1..had them imported from Auckland....NZ has much better honda NA stuff...

we talk about 150hp cars cause we believe in the Honda ethos...ie: NA all the way. Not getting a great high comp engine then taking 3 steps backward by lowering compression and bolting an 'all i can...

No...i dont think so b/c i tried to explore this option with my OBD2 Ecu to fit my OBD1 plugs...its a head-F%$^ and there is a different number of pins and they do not all...

if he's using his existing loom w/o an adapter then it has to be an obd2 ecu...assuming his loom is after 96.

I was getting gains with my V-AFC even when i just changed the cat back exhaust.

Now im i/h/e + cam gears...and im waiting for a final tune. Id say get a
V-AFC1 or 2 second hand...in retrospect...

I think he was refering to power as in 'I WANT MODS THAT GIVE ME THAT MORE POWER EXPERIENCE'

hence a lightened flywheel + final drive kit will do this..

are u sure u are not misreading the code 18 (non-existent) for a code 9..ie:defective cylinder / sensor???.

Your loss in power even with vtec activated is suggestive of a cylinder issue...ie: u...

I/H/E + FW + final drive kits + tuning lots of it....

if yer not happy then go cams & head work...or resleeve the block or both...but it gets a bit expensive after a while and most turbos will...

Are you sure about this?....when i spoke to the previous owner (no names mentioned) he couldnt guarantee that it had reinforced valve springs...seemed a bit weird so i went and sourced a front cut...
