fronts are same even koni has same part number for EG/EK.
rears are different and you cannot fit EG shocks to EK or EK shocks to EG without some modification.
Could be faulty radiator cap, or radiator. In my case, it was the top part of the radiator (where the top hose connect) it was so old and you can crush it with hand.
Shocks would fit but might give different feel as the length is different, you need dc2/eg front forks as well to fit.
Not too sure about springs but you can still use the da9 springs instead
Could be battery, I had a problem to start in the morning but it starts fine in the afternoon or when it's not too cold.
Issue fixed after I had them checked and replaced.

Regardless I think it could be done safely (by using longer studs and correct center bore) but it would...
don't think its spacers. I think it's hub rings. It's recommended to have them. Should cost around $50 for a set of 4. You can get them from most of the tyre shops.
Just mention to them that you...
Isn't the EK9 springs same as DC2R springs? I am pretty sure the spring rates are similar 250 (F) linear / 250 (R) progressive, not sure about the height. If so, you can buy used DC2R springs for...
