Have had my D2s for over a year now and there going strong. I love em. But now days other "better" brands are so much cheaper that why wouldn't you get the better ones?

Id say stay away from d2...

how can one test the solenoid?

weq can i use the solenoid off my D16y8?

engine = ADM b16a4
wiring = ADM b16a4 EK4 harness
ecu = ADM B16a4 ECU

All from halfcut.

Was just wondering if a slipping alternator belt affects anything apart from how well it charges the battery.

Would it affect idle?
Does it affect the ignition system?

ON the t/b there will be a little nipple.

on your stock t/b take off your map sensor and you will see it has a little nipple on it also. Run a peice of rubber tube from the nipple on the t/b to...

vtec only works if you start the car normally
then turn it off
then start it up with the service connector jumped
then turn it off
then start up normally

and then only...

I can get OEM clutches from Honda SpareParts for like $300(Plate, Disc and Baring)

OK using a timing light, i have correctly set ignition timing to factory specs, with still no success.

Recently performed an AsianDM B16a4 conversion into my EJ8. There seems to be a problem with the ignition timing. When the timing is set exactly to manufacturas specs the car bogs down...

its all on how you treat it? Did you have your flywheel machined when clutch was installed? Clutch shudder and high RPM changes = death.

i think you shattered your clutch plate, its still drivable because there is still friction (pressure plate ---> metalparts & rivets of plate ----> flywheel) you are describing the exact same...

SO if i get the B18C motor, i need all the b18c motor mounts and all the b18c chassis mounts. so the Dc2 chassis mounts fit EK fine then?

Can the starter motor from a D16y8 be used on a B-series?

With the mounts. You keep the d16 frame mounts, its just the engine mounts that need to be replaced? So that would be rear, left, right,...

EJ8, EM1, EK4 and EK1 Front seats are all 'Plug and play' and interchangeable so to speak.
