Try and run a BMW X5 next time. You will be surprised how fast they are!
same here, my R is starting to creak around the windscreen area.
nothing to worry about until it gets really loud.
Within the honda family The Type S is "Tame".
more luxury than performance :honda:
Actually the Aus DC5R is the DC5 Type S + LSD. Honda Australia disgraced the Type R badge.
DC2 came in GSI + VTi-R + Type R here in Aus.
just wanted to clear that up. :honda:
The new DC5...

Yonas, is the man leading the non-VTEC brigade.

...
the mph on EK vtir is not rite at all , with 102 mph u can break into 13 sec easy.
maybe it was a traction problem in the begining of the quarter mile
Hmmm, a lot of mph, yet average time.... interesting. What was your 60ft??
OLM-02R has a good QTR mile time on a hot day :)
Boosted Type R should be going a lot quicker than 14.7
Better take it to WSID to confirm the QTR mile time
Thats right. :P
but it will be good to see how quick this VTIR is.
ask tanghy here in the forums :)
i totally agree.
If you want turbo applications it costs a lot of money unless you can DIY. As for the d16y8 engine transplant and swapping the original head over for the y8 VTEC head. dont even...
i suggest a Coilover setup if you are going to the track.
for street use i recommend harder shocks and a higher rate spring set.
when it comes to performance, Robert doesnt like to see people waste their money on things like that. If you want performance he would say buy a TYPE R! thats just the way he is.
Good luck
dont waste your money on an exhaust if you have plans to turbo the car later on. For turbo applicatins the exhaust system should be 3 inches or larger.
as for coilovers, i cant say much about...
interior...........okay
Exterior..........beautiful :P
in terms of looks, there isnt much difference between the GSI & VTI-R. Just small subtle things as joneblaze mentioned above.
But the GSI is a good platform for future mods for either Natural...
