the engineer will compare the power from a B16A to B18CR
make sure the rest of the car is legal as you may need to fix that too

i dont know about older or newer engines but i know that you have to compare the power from an EG and Teg
brake upgrade may be needed if the power ratio is too big...stock airbox is...

i would pay for a good aftermarket ecu
after you installd new workd motor just retune
a workd motor with a piggyback/chippd ecu is no good as i have done these before

i had similar problems too...it was my map sensor...i changed it

i think any part from the B series should work even if is a B16A, B18C , 2, 7 or B18CR

i own an 95 EG6 which is the last series they made B16A2
i now have a B18CR in the EG6
a JDM EG6 has a total different look to a normal EG
