Butters88: Sounds like a bad install job (by previous owner or 3rd party).
Have you tried opening the rear trims to see if it's wet/flooded inside ? Check the grommets.
OEM parking sensors are integrated to the meter console & you can see indicators on the round LCD screen. If yours is not, then it is from third party. You can't adjust the volume.
