OKAY so i took my IACV off both engines and compared them to each other - finding an actual diagram of the IACV hasnt been easy - during the comparison I noticed that the IACV Magnetic Tongue on #1...

Just did an engine swap and for some reason I am getting engine rpm surge issues.
Unplugged the IACV and it goes back to nice and calm. Plug it back in and it still acts polite - turn the car off...

I wouldnt recommend this approach long term. However when I found out my daily had a torn CV boot during an engine swap I considered how I would approach it. I didnt have the time or will to order...

Bro, thanks. This has been solved. The fuel filter is actually to the left side of the fuel tank in the rear, under the actual car. Left hand rear wheel side. 2 hoses and its a b€tch to change out....

I realised when I said non-vtec that there was also the EFI version made.

Thanks for the reply. However that is incorrect. The fuel filter was moved there in the newer 1993 civics onwards, my version is under the car, 10cms from the fuel tank, covered by a plastic mud...
