boring TB will only help if it's causing a restriction to begin with. I've heard of a few cars that have had their TB bored and even lost power because the air flow was too slow.

The igition timing on my prelude just recently has been advanced slightly (not sure how much)
There was definately a noticable increase in power down low

i've been driving around my gf's A-class alot. it will get around 600k's from a tank around the city (give or take a bit)

and recently on a trip down to the snow we clocked up 500k's and only use...

if the bottom end is interchangeable then the girdles would be to. Otherwise i doubt it would.

mattsama, yeah it happens in all gears, it's related to rev's, the higher rev's the higher pitch the whine.

the Prelude has recently had it's 100,000k service so had a new timing belt fitted.
The guy who did it is a honda specialist, and he said he "tuned it up a little"

depends on the CR the car runs std...if ti's reasonably low then bumping it up will be fine....but if it's already quite hi, then it's prob more volitile

i don't know if it would be worthwhile getting cam gears for the stock cams, i'm pretty sure honda do a pretty...

petrovski had Zeil (i think) coilovers and dumped it down 3inches with 18's on :) looked pretty cool, don't think it scrubbed "that" much! :cool:

remember out-right power isn't everything
you'd get a shit load more mid range torque with a supercharger, the good thing is (or bad depending on how you look at it) that since the supercharger...

the F20C is going to be much more expensive than the H22A....but then pricing in the muckin around to mate a g'box to the H22A.

In the near future i'll be building up a Westfield kit car.....BUT just to make my life difficult i've decided not to go down the normal path with a toyota 4AGE :)

i drive a 99 ATTS and it sits at just over 3000rpm at 110

just on a side note, when i drove a BA falcon auto, 110 it was doing about 1500rpm! couldn't belive how low the rev's were, MAD long...

Building an engine to handle Nitrous is the same as building an engine to handle forced induction.
So in theory, if there are bolt on turbo kit's for jazz's, then there's no reason why you couldn't...

haha, pete was telling me about your setup the other night, i think he was cracking a hard-on the more he told me about it
