u could definately get a b16a and maybe a h22 eg..standard ek's you could pick up for around 5.5 with low ks. and thats in queensland, ive heard sydney is heaps cheaper.
in qld mate, eks are selling for under 5 k with around 180k so id let insurance have it and pocket the 7k (u could even buy another ek in awsm condition)

nah its been the case ever since i bought my car. The vtec controller and headunit were already in there and the whole car wiring is so dodgy so i would think that has something to do with it.
