Then came across some ppl claiming vtec...

mine is definitely more like a knock, like knocking on a wooden table.
it happens when my car is warm, generally not there when cold
i found its the worst when there is a small load on engine -...

I have a 2008 FD1 also has more of a "knocking" sound rather than ticking sound. is yours more a tick or a knock?

Would I look like a d1ckhead if I put HID low beam into my fd1?

@ Stevil Im located in Brisbane. I think next service I will get my brake fluid changed.. currently 72k on my odo

a side questions. just want to ask all fd owners - do you feel like when you step on brake, you have to push quite far in to get the brakes working? I mean push further than other cars I have driven....

my FD1 OEM brakes now squeak all day even after hard braking, its giving me the shitz now

just engine oil and oil filter change. only a minor service
shouldn't be more than 200 right?

Just had my car serviced and ATF changed.
I must say there is an immediate noticeble difference
the gear box now responds to revving much better than before. It feels like the engine is making more...

Thought $240 was a rip. called the mechanic again and its only $80! He thought my car had a CVT lol
CVT fluid not cheap apparently

i just got quoted $240 to change ATF from a local mechanic. The logbook service itself is $165 which i thought is pretty average.

is the ATF change an ok price or a rip?

The automatic has longer gears compared to manual therefore auto is less zippy to drive but its more laid back kind of driving

I have a 2008 Vti-l and there are no tweeters in my car
i was gutted

same here. I had the CVT honda Jazz and it was bad
I really hate the rubber band feeling of CVT, any CVT is a no no for me

Then i think i will change ATF in my civic in the next service
Has anyone noticed civic fd1 has "two steps" throttle?

because of cost cutting

the 9th interior has so much cheap plastic it feels like a toy car inside

let me know if you notice any difference, although i doubt it would be at 30k.
mine is at 50k, sometimes i feel the gearbox is a bit lazy
