OEM 81mm PR3 B16A pistons, with P72 head= 11.3:1 static compression.
Your pointer is a little bit off:
B18C2's are 170 & B18C7's are 200 rated fresh from the factory.
These 15 year old tired, leaky, smokey, oil burning engines won't be pulling those power...
Time for an engine ovehaul/ rebuild.
Or a newer car.

Yes it is crucial to check & measure clearances/ tolerances when assembling an engine to ensure it lasts & makes power.
OEM Modulo Kits fit & line up very well, provided they are installed properly.
Your problem sounds like installation error (lack of prepping the surface where the dual adhesive sticks to).

Depends on what you're after, B16A has the ability to produce more power on higher revs, just doesn't make the low end torque a B18C makes. I'm using an OEM 62mm ITR Throttle Body w a Skunk2 IM. Yeah...

Jazz Vibe (1.3) & Vibe-S (1.5) are the only Jazz models currently available from Honda.
All Aussie-spec GE Jazz 2008-2013 come in either 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control.
No they do not come with the CVT auto gearbox that the old GD Jazz...
DC2 comes with cast iron exhaust manifold, mild steel b-pipe, & stainless steel muffler.
