i have no idea about wheels
so just wondering if 18x9 +28 at the front and 18x10 +18 at the back would go on a CU2 easy?
if not what would be required?
Have you tried using a countersunk gear knob? If the lack of clearance is a few mm a countersunk gear knob that sits lower on the threaded stick might be a cheap solution.
my 03 AP1 also has it behind the steering wheel so this luckily wasn't an issue for me when installing my AP2 console in... however the rear demister switch was an issue and yeah... didn't end up...

I have driven both. Own an S drove a mate's BRZ. As curtis says, the BRZ is quite sharp and overall feels more 'refined' in terms of build quality, but has less of a 'racey' feel to it (obviously)....
I actually just re-read your post and realised you said the noise stops when the car is idling... if it is the TCT the noise will be audible when car is in idle.
Best thing to do is probs get a video clip so people can see if they've had a similar sound/situation. Some engine bay sounds are quite distinct and have a common culprit, whereas others might not......
yeh mine has 78k km now and the lower bolster looks to be fairly similar in condition to yours in terms of sag... I probably should be taking more care with getting in and out. I haven't lost any of...
well that doesnt seem too bad from the pic - but you said in your post the lower bolster has sagged? Either I am struggling to see it in that pic or it isn't clear.
The patience pays off, well at least for me it did. I'm sure others on here can attest to that too. If you're genuinely keen on getting an S, I would recommend waiting it out and trying your best not...
