not sure but the guy that's selling the vti-r IS a mechanic haha apparently he had to redo the engine because the previous owner screwed it up and claims he recently did a service, exhaust is welded...

the one i'm looking at is a 98 model auto, i heard it was only the 97 models that had failed tiptronic? or does it also apply to the 98 models?

i'm looking to buy a 97+ prelude. with the money i have, i can either buy a clean Si or a thrashed Vti-R
just wondering how major is the difference between the two engines? and would stock Si...
