I would seriously rethink grn/blk being ECT ground

ensure grn/blk goes to sensor ground on the ECU

if you try and drain the reverse lamps through grn/wht which is what I suspect is sensor...

No delay relay, you switch off the ignition and power is lost to the ECU IG source immediately, that is why the ECU is wired with a VBU to keep constant 12v for memory.
