Nice write up Freddo however can I add my 2cents on the HTR ZIII. Being made in Japan also sucked me in but the results not so great
They're middle of the road in the dry but scary in the wet in...

There's no cheap way around that rear quarter....unless you can cut and weld a panel yourself which is unlikely
