When you remove the resonator does it not leave any holes or anything where it was removed?

Have you or anyone else just left everything else standard except for removing the resonator? Do you have to block the hole up with anything and how does it sound now?

Do you think if i removed the resonator and put ina K&N panel filter that it will make it a bit louder?
