$500 does sound right. Not only do you have to pay for the foglights, but you have to pay for an indicator/light switch to turn on your foglights. Yes $250 is just for the fog lights alone.

The bracket comes with a face plate to cover the exposed area (used to be the compartment under the temperature control nobs. Got mine for $90, apart from being expensive, makes my HU look like it...

Depends on how use you are to shifting manually (semi-auto).

You should just order the bracket for the MP3 player and install an aftermarket head unit which fit into the bracket. It will sound heaps better than the standard HU + the added bonus of MP3

I have to agree that the euro is quicker in the semi auto mode through personal experience. And yes you can get to 100km/h in 2nd even in the semi auto Euro.
