Yeah tried that but didn't do anything..

I've noticed the problem seems to be with the DVD rom, when the screen works the DVD rom lights are on and when the screen is "looping" or frozen the DVD...

Don't really like fiddling with boards, i'm not really tech minded like that. What about an auto elec?

The sat nav home screen has frozen for good now. It just loops through the home screen every 60 seconds.

I have disconnected the neg on the battery and drained system juice and it hasn't fixed the...

It's just unfrozen. Weird.

Next time it does that I'll try disconnect power like you said.

Not sure what the issue was but hopefully it doesn't return.

Well by turning off the car it restarts but still frozen on that home screen. I can't get access to the interface to manually turn it off and on if that's what u mean?
