If you bought yours prior to 1990 then it's an AU made tool. Otherwise they're made in Taiwan now.

I would check hood fuse 31 and dash fuse 24 before chasing wires.

Both are fuses for the fuel system. If one is blown, then the pump won't prime.

It's one of two things actually. A dead pump, or the relay as InfurNOS pointed out.

If the guide proves the relay is fine, then I'd look at the pump.

Hoses tend to bulge and burst with age and wear. So if it's never been changed since 91, it was bound to go after 21 years.

All in all, the H22A is a beast of an engine if you worked it the same way as the B's, setting the difference in price and third party support...

The H22A has more torque and more power, both of which bolt ons won't make up for...well at least not to the point where it's enough to beat a JDM H22.

Won't matter if you buy a manual or auto EG. Your H22A will use shift cables instead so you have to change the whole trans setup. Unless you're going for resale possibilities, then go for it.
