So loaned the missus cl9 to a colleague and she mistakingly tried to move the seat forward by yanking on the bar underneath (not realising they are electric) enough to dislodge it.
Read my thread here on the same issue and the replacement I did: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?171554-CL9-Serpentine-Tensioner-Replacement&p=3923699#post3923699
HmM, the missus accord euro recently started blowing ambient air from the AC. Had done this intermittently after running for a while previously, but now it's permanently not working.
Yeh I'd expect a drop in acceleration and also the speedo is probably going to be out as a result unless I get lucky with the profile of the tyres matching the same rolling circumference.
Just wondering if the offsets, widths etc from the current model euro 18" alloys with 235 tyres will fit the CL9? I know they are the same stud pattern (114.3), however I don't want them...
There wasn't any vibration at speed, there was just a rattling noise (quite noticeable) coming from the tensioner when the car was at idle and in gear (i.e. stopped at the...

Ok, picked up the starter motor yesterday afternoon (OEX brand, 3 year warranty - brand new not reconditioned) and got to work at removing the suspected dud one last night. Took a couple of hours to...
Removed tensioner pulley on the weekend and took the bearing in, $3.50 from Repco and the belt was a Dayco replacement for $35-ish. Will post the bearing number tomorrow. Whole replacement done in...
The car is currently stuck in my garage so not too bad, could have been stuck in a carpark etc meaning it needed to get towed. I'm going to do the replacement myself, just called around and found a...
Ok so replaced the serpentine belt and tensioner bearing on the weekend and took the battery in to get it tested while the car was out of action - it's holding 395CCA (ran two test loads through it)....
I'm beginning to suspect a faulty starter motor or loose/corroded cabling to the starter motor as being the cause of this issue. Ive read a few webpages now about issues with the starter needing to...
