    extractors..

For an eg with a b18c2 motor what would be the best solution for extractors 4-1 or 4-2-1? and wheres the cheapest and good place to go? (in the west) blacktown, mount druitt area, parra, livo?

4-1 headers hp output on high RPM, 4-2-1 headers hp output mid range n low range rpm.

thats always a confusing debate, as the status quo generally say that felixd is correct. however theres a huge pocket of people who agree with limbo. wish the sydney folk went through with that extractor dyno test. wouldve laid this to rest once n for all.

i agree but i also understand that some people think (like 'limbo') that 4-1 is better all over. i think it depends on the quality of the extractor but as a general rule, 4-2-1 better for low to mid range.

i have 4-2-1 on my dc2 and i got a noticable gain in those areas

from what i gather i read on here somewhere that a cheap 4-1 header will be better then a cheap 4-2-1, however a top shelf 4-2-1 header is better then a top shelf 4-1.

Just wondering if you have tried both? cos i have. It helps when you have friends who have exhaust shops. Cos i tried a variety of combos before settling on the JDM 4-1s.
But then its up to you what setup you would like, cos i only post what i've experienced

I've J's racing 4-2-1.. on a B18C2 feels more torquey than before.. noticeable gains (Not huge).. especially on uphills.. Feels more low to mid.. A decent installation will cost u abt 200+.. (good job no nonsense) ..
